Salon and Spa Software: Packages, Repeat Clients and the Gap in the Day
Services are the catalogue
Haircut, colour, facial, massage and bridal package are services with a duration and a price. A package is a bundle of services sold together, sometimes paid upfront and used over several visits. The bill should show what was used today and what remains.
If packages live only in a diary, the client remembers five visits and the salon remembers three. A package balance on the customer record ends that argument.
The repeat client is the business
A client who returns every month is worth more than a one-time discount crowd. A customer history with the last visit, the service and the preferred staff member makes the next booking easier. Loyalty points on paid services give the client a reason to return without training the staff to discount.
Retail products are separate stock
Shampoo, serum and skincare sold at the counter are products, not services. They move stock and carry their own margin. Mixing a product into a service line hides both the stock and the true service revenue.
The quiet hours are a cost
Rent, electricity, staff and equipment run all day. A service calendar view, even a simple one, shows where the chairs are empty. The owner can then decide on an off-peak offer or a reminder to the clients who have not returned.
Payments and tips
Cash, bKash and card are normal. A tip should be recorded separately from the service price so the staff share is clear. If tips are mixed into revenue, every payout becomes a guess.
What Zuviq Book covers
Service and package billing, package balances, customer history, loyalty points, retail product stock, cash and bKash payments, expenses, staff-linked service lines and printable or link-based bills.
The salon flow is in the salon and spa brochure. For loyalty mechanics, read the super shop guide.
Review one service day
Take yesterday's bills and list the services, products and tips. If the staff cannot tell which chair was empty and which package was used, the day is not fully recorded.

Frequently asked questions
Can a package be used across several visits?
Yes. The package balance sits on the customer record and reduces as each service is used.
How do loyalty points work in a salon?
Points accrue on paid services and can be redeemed as a bill discount, with the balance visible at the counter.
Are retail products tracked separately?
Yes. Products are item lines that move stock; services are service lines that do not.
